What is ICAS?

ICAS is the International Competition and Assessment for Schools test that examines scientific skills. It is administered by the University of New South Wales and consists of multiple choice questions that test your skills in several areas. These areas are:
  • Investigating
  • Reasoning and Problem Solving
  • Predicting and Concluding
  • Observing and Measuring
  • Interpreting
The test is returned to you with statistics about which of these areas are your strengths and which need some improvement. You can then work with your teacher and on your own to improve in Science.
